Early concentric millefiori paperweight with 11 radial twist canes dividing groups of canes that radiate from a central cluster. This vividly-colored Perthshire design is set on an opaque red ground and was made in Crieff Scotland, in the very early years of the company (late 1970s). Perthshire: Patterned millefiori and twist cane paperweight. An attractive early Perthshire paperweight in shades of blue and green. It has a central "P" cane, surrounded by two concentric rings of canes, 10 radial twists separating groups of canes and then a ring of twist canes and an outer ring of canes. This classic pattern rests on an opaque blue ground and the paperweight has a hollow ground base. Paper label still present. Diameter: 3". |
