A butterfly, with pale blue wings trimmed in black, white and green (aventurine) and a deep red aventurine body, overlies a white latticino basket and torsade that has six delicate purple, blue and white pansy canes. Has a "JD" signature cane and also a paper label (visible in the photo as a white circle beneath the butterfly). Diameter: 3".

Hard to describe paperweight from the "Inhabited Planet" series. Every planet produced by the artist is unique and has an organic appearing internal texture. This one spans the color range from the deep blue of the ocean, to the varying greens of the land, and must be viewed close up to be appreciated! The pictures depict top and side views. Large bright orange and green glass jellyfish encased in thick clear glass. The delicate dome of the jellyfish is a pale yellow/green with bright orange trim and fine clear tendrils descend from within the dome. As can be see in the pictures, the appearance of this piece differs depending on light conditions. Height: 8¾"; Diameter: ~4¾".

Large cloisonne lamp with reticulated metal base

This very large and attractive cloisonne lamp has several dragons, flowers, clouds and other design in various colors on a mat-white ground. The height of the lamp, from the bottom of the base to the top of the cloisonne portion is ~21 inches. From the metal plate at the top of the cloisonne region to the top of the removable harp is another 13 inches. Thus the total height (with this harp and without a shade) is ~34 inches. The diameter at its widest part is ~10.5 inches. The condition of the cloisonne is very good, with only a few minor flaws that are barely noticeable. In some of the photos, the cord can be seen wrapped around the base.

D'Albret 1976: Faceted "Sitting Bull" paperweight

This faceted sulphide paperweight by D'Albret has a terra cotta "Sitting Bull" with a flesh-colored face and long dark braid, overlying a clear starburst base. Has a single top facet and finger facets on the sides. This paperweight, depicting an important Sioux leader was made in a limited edition of 500. Etched signature on base and still has its paper label. Diameter: ~3".

Baccarat 1977: Gridel stork paperweight.

A single Gridel stork silhouette cane, surrounded by circular garlands of complex canes, interspersed with groups of all the different Gridel canes, rests on a rich blue ground. Signature/date cane and acid-etched Baccarat mark. Limited edition of less than 350. Diameter: 3 7/16".

Note: This is one in the series of 18 different Baccarat Gridel paperweights that were made between 1971-1979. We currently have all 18 of these paperweights for sale.
